Berrisom Placenta Firming Hydro Gel Eye Patches

  I am a college student who doesn't always get her full 5 hours of sleep, I'm lucky if I get 5 but because of that dark circles under my eyes are a thing. I've tried a few eye patches but I never notice results right away usually you have to continue to use quite often and let's be honest that's not going to happen because I'm a broke college student!! Kidding but seriously they can be very pricy. One day I was browsing through one of my favorite Korean online stores and i came across placenta gel eye patches. Placenta has been a thing among Korean products but I had not had an opportunity to buy anything. I decided to order them since it was 60 eye sheets for less than $14. I thought I'd take my chances. I did read that they are made from placenta of pregnant mammals, which personally doesn't scare me or gross me out, because I've used snail secretion gels and other "crazy" things. Placenta has been proven to help in many different ways so I was curious to see what it could do for my under eye area.

 The results were actually impressive. You just simply put them under your eyes for 20-30 mins and you can visibly see a difference. The container comes with a small spatula to get eye patches out without taring them. You can use them once daily or if you're busy like me every other day or every time you remember either way you'll see a difference. I tend to use them in the mornings especially when I know I didn't get much sleep, they help hydrate my under eyes and reduce darkness. 

Here are my results after just 25 mins. I can really see a difference in my dark circles and my eyes feel hydrated and I'm ready to apply my makeup. I highly recommend them!

BeautyNetKorea Haul

    I recently recieved my second order from BeautyNetKorea and as anticipated I'm not disappointed. Shipping was faster than I expected. My first order took about 2 weeks while this order only took eight days including a weekend. The website is definitely one to check out, they have many products and many different brands. They even sale wholesale which is pretty good if you're into getting by the bulk. Prices are amazing and they always have sales. Shipping is free (unless you want faster shipping) the products do ship from Korea so it does take a little longer than normal but it's so worth it. I highly recommend this website. 

      Here's a snap of everything I got. 

  Let's start off with their samples, I'm always excited to see what they send because they're usually always good samples. If you ever go into a Korean beauty store they always send you home with a few samples. This is a great way to try new items. 

   I got some new lip sticks and lip stains. I got one from Etude house which is blue but once it's applied it's actually a very pretty pink. The other I got is a new brand for me and I saw it and found it very interesting. It's from a brand called Secret key and it's more of a sheer tint lipstick. It's in a watermelon scent. The other is more of a tinted lip balm, somewhat like the Tony Moly's bunny gloss bar. 

   

  I got an Etude house blush which the packaging is so beautiful even the puff. I love it and the color is very pigmented. 

   

  I got myself the Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot set which came with a peeling pack and just a mostierizing pack. The peeling pack worked amazing for my mom so I had to order myself one. I also ordered a Konjac sponge. A review for that will definitely be coming soon.  

   Last but not least I ordered myself some placenta sheet masks and under eye patches. Relax they're just vegetal placenta products but I'm very excited to try them. They claim make wrinkles less visible and tighten the skin. Of course a review will be needed. I'm excited to share my results with you all.

what the snail?

When first venturing into Korean products, one of the first things I thought was "snail on my face, NEVER!!!" Weeeellll, never say never right? Well I finally gave in and bought a couple of snail creams since so many reviews sounded promising. The two products I tried were Tony Moly Pure Eco Snail Moisture Gel and Mizon Snail Wrinkle Care Sleeping Pack. ( both pictured below)

Mizon Sleeping Pack

I use this sleeping pack at least twice a week on days I do not do a sheet mask since it is loaded with moisture. I do my normal skin care routine that I have mentioned before and at the end i use this. The consistency at first made me a little nervous because it was tacky and gooey looking and the idea of it being snail secretion was weirding me out. I decided to try it anyway and I am glad I didn't psych myself out because I love it know. It does stay tacky/wet but just leave it on and fall asleep in the morning i wash it off and my skin feels amazing. I have seen a difference in my face since converting over to majority Korean products but these two products are  really the icing on the cake! 

Tony Moly Pure Eco Snail Moisture Gel 

I love this Snail Gel! I talk about to just about everyone that will listen to me and swear by it. It smells refreshing like a clean hair product but the scent doesnt last too long. Its not a very strong smell but with all products I always have to get a good smell so i get all in it. lol If you have oily skin get this... In fact I am going to keep testing this out a little longer and have it go head to head in a comparison to my Aloe Gel. I have been using this on my arms instead of lotion partly because a little goes a long way and I always seem to get a little too much for my face so I just rub the excess gel on my arms. Let me tell you!!! Here in Houston, it always feel awful outside and some lotions/creams once you start sweating or getting wet will make you feel slimy! I have worn this in place of a lotion on my legs and arms on splash days at work and under the misters on our playground and my arms and legs were fine.

Denisse's Summer Favorites

    So summer has just started but I already have some favorites that I know will continue to be my favorites throughout this scorching Houston summer. Following are my favorites and why they are my favorites:

 

  1.) Tony Moly's Petite Bunny Gloss Bar

First of all let's start of with how cute these are. They are gloss tints that help moisturize the lips while leaving behind a slight tint of color. Colors vary depending on the gloss bar you get. I have all 9 shades and the darker ones all leave a darker color but still very light. I love these because they help my lips while adding a little color to my lips. They're perfect for everyday or super hot days when your lipstick could melt off. 

2.) Natures Republic Soothing Aloe Gel

Tracy wrote a post all about this amazing gel so I will not go into depth with this because you guys MUST read her post. The main reason I love this gel so far is because after shaving I would tend to get razor bumps a lot and since shaving is a must in the summer, I figured I needed this in my life. I lather my lips with this after my shower and it's so refreshing and soothing and I don't get itchy little bumps anymore. I have also been putting this on my face after my shower and I have loved it. I even shared with my boyfriend. He now wants his own. Lol! It'll be perfect in case I get sun burned this summer because aloe gel helps with that and this is 92% aloe gel. 

3.) Jelly Tote

Not a Korean nor beauty product but this is he perfect tote to carry your summer musts or your beach things. Super cute and easy to clean. I love my jelly tote and it's such a 90's thing, let's bring them back! 😉

4.) Tony Moly's Bunny Perfume Bar

Here we go again with TM's packaging. These bunnies are my weakness! These are small perfume bars with fresh scents. They're perfect to throw in your purse or beach bag. They're perfect for reapplying during the hot busy days. They're not overpowering at all and that's why it's my favorite during the summer days. I can always reapply when I feel it is needed and it's super easy to carry around everywhere. Many scents to pick from, I have #2 Momo Fruity. It is a very light and fresh citrus scent. I love it. 

5.) Tony Moly's Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist

Yet again another bunny! 🐰 Need a refreshing "pick me up" during the day? This bunny most helps control oily skin while giving you a refreshing feeling to the face with one single spray. It's meant to refresh the face while controlling oily skin. It also helps set makeup. I love to carry this around with me because Houston's heat sometimes makes me feel like my face is melting off. I spray this and it helps me feel great again. I highly recommend this one because its needed in the summer.

TONY MOLY Floria Brightening Peeling Gel Korean Beauty

Tonight's post is about one of my favorite products that I've been using for a few months now that has really helped my skin...

A few months back Denisse and I went into China Town here in Houston and found a cute little K Beauty shop. Of course being overwhelmed with so many different products us around I had no clue what exactly to get until several of the employees tried to help us look at just about every product in there. One of the ladies grabbed my hand and squeezed a tiny bit of the peeling gel and started massaging it. Y'all my hands are so dry its ridiculous! I am constantly using bleach at work or washing my hands back to back so I was a little embarrassed to see what  the results would be. She started to explain that this gentle gel goes on clean dry skin and you will see the dead skin just start to ball up right on top of you skin just like here on my face. 

When i saw my dead skin from the back of my hand just start coming off I knew I had to have it. I've used it once a week since buying it and it has changed my face. I used to get these dry patches on my face which my makeup would cling too and would not look cute. Using this once a week has helped with those spots and on my entire face in general.  I give this product two thumbs up & recommend it to just about everyone! 

It is so simple to use,,,, just wash and dry your face, take a small amount in your hands and just start massaging on your face. It will not take long until you see the little white balls starting to form on your face.

Take my word for it, you won't regret giving this product a try.

K beauty Haul.

   Today I went to a Korean cosmetics store in china town here in Houston. I was so excited to see so much stuff but one thing I didn't really like was that I was followed around the entire store. I personally don't like that, if I need help I'll ask for it, I don't want to be followed around. It makes me feel like they think I'm going to steal something. I can't shop in peace. Anyways I I still managed to do some shopping. I spent WAY more than I should have but shhhhh 🙊. 

   This is a pic of everything I got today.

I got 4 different tints and a free sample. The tints all came with an extra thing, two are balms and one is a tint remover (which will probably come in handy).

It's a cute wine bottle. I'm most excited to try this one.

  I also got a few sheet masks

I'm always trying new sheet masks so these looked interesting. Also got a free little gift which they let me pick randomly.

  I ended up getting this Dr. G hydra intensive cream.

    I'm sure I would have spent more money but I stopped myself. 💁🏻 Hopefully soon I'll have a review for the lip tints which I'm so excited to try.

          Tonight i will briefly  talk about a few products I use in the evening time to go from

 full face of make up to a nice hydrating sheet mask.

I love to use this cleansing oil to take off my make up because it just breaks down the make up so nice and it is so hydrating. After massaging it all over my face I rinse it off still massaging it and it doesnt leave the face feeling greasy. 

FS Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam

I follow the cleansing oil with the cleansing foam typically paired with my clarisonic and it foams up pretty nice and leaves the face so clean. Those two products not only brighten but they leave my face feeling clean and soft without drying it out. 

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener

I love love love this "freshener"! So i use wonder pore as my toner and I love how it leaves my skin! It is a 7 in 1 total pore solution freshener for intensive pore care. It cleanses your face and tightens pores while balancing your pH levels. It does not give a tight feeling like some products can. I am going to be buying more from the Wonder Pore line soon because this was is so good!

                I finished tonight's skin care routine with Tony Moly Brightening Peeling Gel followed by                    a Innisfree Honey Sheet Mask but those products are so great they deserve their own post so we'll save that for another day.

Tony Moly's banana products.

Tony Moly is one of my favorite Korean brands because of the packaging and because they're great. But I'll be honest even if they didn't work I would buy them! Lol. Well TM has this line of banana shaped, banana scented lip balm, hand milk and sleeping pack. They're AMAZING! And cute of course. The packaging is very realistic, in the bigger ones and they have great tips that you can control how much product you get.

   I started off with the hand milk and I personally don't like hand lotions but this one dries quickly and doesn't leave behind a sticky residue. I use it for my legs, for my elbows anywhere you could need some lotion lol. 

  Now the sleeping pack is just for the face but it's actually an over night face cream. WARNING: if you have oily skin you may NOT like this. When you put this on it does not dry. It does stay oily, (for winters it could be perfect) but that is why you must wash it off in the mornings.  I have still continued to use this every other day now that we are entering the summer. I randomly get dry spots and since I've been using this I have not. I really recommend this sleeping pack or just a sleeping pack in general. I like to put it on after my shower and right before bed. 

   The lip balm is a very moisturizing lip balm it smells like banana and I love it because of its packaging. It doesn't do anything different than any other lip balm. I just had to have all 3 and honestly I love new lip balms. Who wouldn't like a tiny banana shaped lip balm?!? 🙋🏻 

  Hope you guys enjoy this and go out and get your own bananas. UO carries the hand milk. Even if you don't want to buy, if you're shopping around go test it I'm sure you'll love it!

Nature Republic 92% Aloe

When I first started looking into Korean products one of the things I saw lots of people talking about was the NR Aloe Vera Gel. Being curious I wanted to see what the hype was about and I'm glad I did.

Y'ALL... THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!  One of the first things that caught my attention was it was under 10 dollars so if I didn't like it wasn't that much wasted but if I loved it then I found a great cheap product! I instantly fell in love with this product and the way it left my skin feeling. I soon discovered there were many ways to use this product... Some of my favorite ways to use are

•MOISTURIZER 

•FACIAL MASK 

•HAIR GEL 

•BODY LOTION 

•SPOT TREATMENT 

M o i s t u r i z e r

This gel is great for all skin types it is a very hydrating gel that isn't greasy or oily. 

If you're like me with oily skin you might use products to mattify your face and we all know how drying those products can be so this product is perfect way to rehydrate your face. If you have dry skin this is so hydrating it'll feel great and really put moisture into your skin.  

F a c i a l M a s k

This product is perfect layering on a little more than usual and letting your face soak it all up. I like to grab some, glop it on,and leave it for 15 minutes and rub some in. Because I put more than usual it won't soak all in instantly, but that's not a problem I fall asleep with my face a little moist and wake up with super soft skin. 

H a i r  G e l 

I recently got side swept bangs again after not having them for a few years of course I forgot how pesky they when they seperate causing awkward gaps or just over all not staying how I want to style them. Instead of using  hair gel/spray I just take a little on rub it in my hand and rub it on my bangs the way I want them to stay and it lasts all day. 

B o d y L o t i o n 

I have super sensitive skin so I'm always on the hunt for a moisturizing lotion that won't break me out and this stuff does exactly what I need.  It hydrates my body wonderfully! 

S p o t T r e a t m e n t 

With oily skin comes the occasional breakouts/stubborn acne. If I feel a pimple or breakout happening I will dab a good amount on that spot Before bed and it help reduce the redness and swelling.  It is also great for acne scars.

Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

I had heard lots about this mask and of course the whole "bubbly thing" caught my eye. I too wanted to see why this thing started to bubble on my face. I went ahead and ordered this mask and I wasn't disappointed. It left my face feeling so soft but to be honest I was sold when I saw how it bubbled up right away. I learned to not put too much on my face because it takes some time to wash off. You don't have to leave it on for too long which is a good thing because after 20 mins of having something on my face I start to get impatient. I loved how it didn't leave my face feeling oily or too dry. It felt super soft, perfect for before makeup or at night after taking your makeup off. My over all thoughts on the mask is that it's fun to use and leaves your face feeling soft.

Its not everyday Denisse and I can use the same products because we have two totally different types of skin. I have oily skin and living in Houston with our humidity, its even worse. SO for both of us to try this and love it just about anyone can use it! Key word for this product a little goes a looong way (I learned this the hard way).
